Here is an overview of the start to finish process of hiring us to capture your most special day!

Combined, we bring you 13 years of photography experience.
Our life's passion is to use our given talents to document life in all its beauty and rawness. We truly believe this is our calling and purpose.

Our gear: We use Canon mirrorless R6 & R6 MKII camera bodies with DUAL card slots, ensuring there is no chance of SD card corruption. We use Sigma Art Pro Series Lens and Godox flashes.
We also have two full backup camera bodies and lenses should our primary cameras fail us.
SD cards are immediately backed up post wedding to both a computer and two separate external hard drives to ensure we have your images secured and safe.
Our editing style: We are a good combination of true to life colors with moody aesthetics that emphasize film and grain vibes.
However, we can custom edit to your desire within reason.

2 hour elopement: $1000.00 - 200+ images, digital gallery, 2 photographers
4 hour Micro: $2,000.00 - 400+ images, digital gallery, 2 photographers
6 hour wedding: $3,000.00 - engagement session - 600+ images, digital gallery, 2
photographers
8 hour wedding: $4,000.00 - engagement session - 800+ images, digital gallery, 2 photographers -custom usb + usb box
10 hours wedding: $5,000.00 - engagement session - 1000 + images, digital gallery, 2 photographers, custom usb + usb box, 2, 11x14 canvas , 1 wedding album with 100 of your favorite images.

The booking process:
Do we offer payment plans? YES! 50% down is required to book and secure the date. Remaining balance would need to be paid in full no later than 30 days prior to your wedding date.

Do we offer any discounts? YES! Pay in full at booking and receive 5% off!
Our booking process is painless and easy. All it takes is 2 simple steps.
*Sign the contract and pay the invoice via digital links.
We use both Pixieset + Square for our contracts, invoices and image delivery methods.
Contracts are delivered via Pixieset digital link directly to your email. Please thoroughly review the contract and sign should you accept. Contracts will expire in 5 days once issued.
Invoices: Invoices are delivered via a digital link as well. You can pay with a debit or credit card. There are no additional charges when using your card.
If you need a payment plan, this same link will be available for all future payments. Square does a fantastic job of keeping everything organized and neat for us.
Yay! You have booked us, what's next?
At this time, we will reach out to confirm payment and contracts have been completed and received.
Next, our business insurance waivers will be sent to both you and your venue coordinator.
(please make sure you provide us the venue coordinator’s contact information)
Now it's time to schedule your engagement session if your package includes one.
**Engagement sessions will take place during sunrise or sunset lighting and can take place on Tuesday through Friday and Sundays only. When reaching out to book, please have two dates in mind. One will be kept as a backup date should we need to reschedule due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Where will our engagement session take place?
Your engagement session will be completely custom to you and your future spouse.
We typically ask for a Pinterest board or screenshots of inspiration images so we can get a grasp of the vibe and aesthetic we are trying to accomplish for your session. From there, we can recommend locations that would suit our session goals best. If you're completely clueless as to what you want, that's ok! We will help you figure that out.**IF LOCATION IS MORE THAN 75 MILES FROM MY HOME ADDRESS, A $75 TRAVEL FEE WILL APPLY.
Can I change my outfits?
Yes! Feel free to bring two looks! This will truly elevate your engagement gallery both in variety and quantity.
We recommend bringing both a casual and a dressy look. (feel free to ask for more direction).
How long is the session? Sessions are usually 45 mins max.
Image delivery: Engagement sessions are delivered in 48 hours post session via Pixieset digital gallery and can be downloaded directly from the link with a download pin.
Our engagement session is complete, what are the next steps??
COMMUNICATION! We cannot stress this enough! We want to know all the details, no matter how “annoying” you feel reaching out to us for minor timeline changes or common questions. We want to know everything! This helps us best capture your big, expensive and most important day of your life.

Do you help with making wedding day timelines?
Yes! We will help you customize everything. We want to be involved to ensure things go as originally discussed during the planning/booking process.
What time should we plan on the photographers arriving at the venue/church?
We always recommend brides to have us arrive at the tail end of the brides hair and makeup application. This allows us to capture all of the “getting ready” images that are highly sought after. In addition to getting ready shots, this also allows us to get any first looks and detail shots of the ceremony location.
How long do we have the second shooter? The second shooter is my husband, Mat and he is with us the entire contracted time. We divide and conquer: him with the groom and his men and I with the bride and her maids. This truly helps us capture everything, leaving nothing uncaptured.
What if the lead photographer and the second shooter are unavailable on my wedding day? We have never missed a contracted wedding in all the years we have been capturing weddings, though we are not ignorant to the fact that life can and does happen.
Great news, we have a plan! We have several alternate associates with whom we work on a regular basis. We line up two replacement photographers after we have booked a new date as a contingency plan should an unfortunate circumstance occur and we become unavailable.
All images will still be edited and delivered by us as proposed on the original booking contract.
Replacement photographers will have a similar photography style to ours to keep to our aesthetic.
Do you have travel fees? Yes. A $75 Travel fee applies when we are traveling more than 50 miles from 140 N 5th St. Capron, IL 61012.
Do you travel out of state for weddings? YES! We travel anywhere in the continental US for an additional charge of $1800.00. (does not apply the general northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area)
This covers our flights, hotel and rental car for the duration of our trip to capture your wedding.
Do you travel internationally? YES! We both possess a valid passport and are willing to chat about a custom quote option to capture your day abroad!
When can we expect our wedding images back? Wedding galleries are delivered within 7 days of the wedding date. Sneak peaks delivered within 48 hours.
When are products delivered? Products are ordered 7 days after the wedding gallery is delivered. Once products are ordered, they are delivered directly to your door in 10-14 business days.
